When The Secret Stash was founded it had a mission - to introduce readers to a whole category of authors that don't make it to the shelves of the big chain bookstore. These authors are known as indie authors and they have amazing stories to tell. Through a presence at street fairs, hosting pop-up shops and author readings The Secret Stash did just that. At one street fair an eager commented on the entire table full of local San Diego Authors (The Secret Stash started in San Diego).

In the years since the disappearance of The Secret Stash a re-imagining has been stewing, waiting for the perfect time to re-launch. That time is now. In the present, owner and founder Adam is living in Denver, Colorado and looks to bring local and indie authors in touch with readers much in the same way as before. Except, there is a new element to the plan - in one year's time to open a brick and mortar location that will be more than a bookstore.
